Designed for all levels, Jimmy’s 2 hour Master Class will give you a transformational experience to balance your body, quiet your mind and nourish your soul!
The Master Class will begin with a 30 minute yoga philosophy discussion and short postural clinic. Thereafter, we will embark upon a 90 minute transformative journey of mind, body and soul through his signature electrifying Barkan Method Hot Vinyasa.
Jimmy’s style of teaching is at once inspiring, insightful, challenging, humorous and engaging. His keen eye for both your physical AND mental alignment allows you to feel safe and free to practice within your own limits.
More than just the Barkan Method itself, Jimmy’s approach creates a calming of the mind, quieting of the brain’s chatter, and a deep relaxation response.

About Jimmy Barkan
Jimmy is a master yoga teacher certified by Ghosh’s College of India, Calcutta, India in 1981. He is considered to be one of the pioneers of yoga in the United States, practicing long before yoga became popular and mainstream. Jimmy began his yoga career under the guidance and wisdom of Bikram Choudhury and was honored when he became known as Bikram’s Most Senior Teacher, an accomplishment very few have since obtained.
The Barkan Method of Hot Yoga was established in 2002. Combined with it’s HOT YOGA lineage, it is a product of numerous influences and has garnered a vast and dedicated following from people around the world.
Jimmy’s first yoga studio opened in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in January 1983, followed by Plantation, Florida in 2001 and Boca Raton Florida in 2012. Jimmy has also trained many of our country’s top professional athletes throughout the years including members of the NFL, NBA, NHL, the 1997 World Series Champions Florida Marlins and PGA Tour players.

If we cancel a workshop or change the date and you cannot attend the new date, then you may choose to receive a full refund or have your fee credited to your account.
If you cancel your attendance, or do not attend, there will be no refunds or credits.
