As we are all aware, companies worldwide have been forced to make difficult decisions in light of our current health circumstances. While we have taken every feasible measure to keep the studio operating in a safe manner and have continually evolved our disinfection and sterilization practices, the health and well being of our YogaSpa Family and Team, as well as that of our local communities, are the priority over continued operations. After careful monitoring and out of an abundance of caution, we have made the difficult decision to close YogaSpa for the remainder of March, effective today, Saturday, March 14. We sincerely hope that the current COVID-19 situation in Westchester gets a much needed quick upturn so that we can reopen on April 1st, 2020. We realize that this is disappointing news and extremely inconvenient, but it is of the utmost importance that we do everything we can to protect and support each other, members and staff alike in this difficult and uncertain time. Though the closure is undesired and disappointing, we trust that it will bring some sense of comfort and safety to all.Please stay tuned for further updates as we continue to monitor developments. Unfortunately, in addition to Thursday’s blizzard schedule interruption, Con Edison has not yet been able to fully rectify the supply line issue to satisfy OUR heat requirements. As a result, we must cancel our 9:30am class today, Friday, January 5, 2018. While all the other businesses in the complex have been affected, again, we have painstakingly made Con Edison aware of how dire our particular situation is, in that our major product is HEAT! We are hoping that this issue will be fully rectified for our 6:00pm class tonight. Again, we deeply apologize for this very inconvenient, yet unavoidable, interruptionof our service. Our Family is a circle of strength and love with every birth and union it grows. Every crisis faced together makes our circle stronger (Author Unknown). Wow, what a year, but all of this year’s highs and lows are OBVIOUSLY NOT OVER YET! With great REGRET, we MUST immediately cancel ALL our classes, at least until Tuesday, January 2, 2018. Con Edison, the Elmsford Building Department and Elmsford Police informed us that while the building is safe, THERE IS NO GAS BEING SUPPLIED TO THE ENTIRE BUILDING DUE TO A LEAK AT THE CARD STORE IN OUR SHOPPING COMPLEX. Unfortunately, for us, that means NO HEAT and therefore, NO YOGA! We are required to remain closed until further notice from Con Edison, but they are actively working with the building manager’s plumbers to rectify the problem as quickly as possible. Regrettably, Practice IN the New Year Class is cancelled AND you WILL be refunded if you signed up for that Special class. Of course, we will extend the expiration date of class cards to reflect this untimely interruption in our service. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
