At 9:30pm, last night, Tuesday, November 22, 2016, Con Edison informed us that they have “cut the supply line” from the street to entire business complex, due to a necessary “upgrade” of the supply lines that run from below street level to the complex. In short, there will be no classes, today, Wednesday, November 23, 2016. While all the other businesses in the complex have been affected, we have painstakingly made Con Edison aware of how dire our particular situation is, in that our major product is HEAT! They have guardedly intimated that our gas supply (read: HEAT!) should be back for our Thanksgiving Day Class at 9:30am and the remainder of the Holiday weekend. We are keeping our fingers crossed. Again, we deeply apologize for this very inconvenient yet unavoidable interruption of our service. We will post the Holiday schedule as soon as the heat has been restored. We greatly appreciate your patience, understanding and cooperation! Your YogaSpa Team
Regrettably, we have just been informed by Con Edison and the Building Management that while the building is safe, THERE IS NO GAS BEING SUPPLIED TO THE BUILDING. Unfortunately, for us, that means NO HEAT and therefore, NO YOGA! With great REGRET, we MUST cancel our classes for this evening and we will unfortunately remain closed until further notice from Con Edison. Con Edison is actively working with the building manager’s plumbers to rectify the problem as quickly as possible We are desperately hoping that this issue will be resolved tonight so that we may resume our schedule. Needless to say, we will extend the expiration date of class cards to reflect this unfortunate interruption in our service. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation! Your YogaSpa Team
Due to a gas leak at Staples (our Anchor Tenant) we have been evacuated from the premises. As a result, the 7:30pm class tonight and the 6:15 am class tomorrow, November 22, is cancelled. We anticipate that our 9:30am class will proceed as scheduled. Please call us at 914.345.9642 to confirm

Jimmy began his yoga career under the guidance and wisdom of Bikram Choudhury and was honored when he became known as Bikram’s Most Senior Teacher, an accomplishment very few have since obtained. The Barkan Method of Hot Yoga was established in 2002.
