Recommended Attire & what you should bring:

Women: leotards, tights, tank tops, shorts
Men: shorts, swim wear, tank tops, shirts


Bring a change of clothes and extra towel if you'd like to shower. Please note that you will be soaked after class. Plastic bags are usually available, but you may want to bring your own to put all your wet things into.


Bring lots of water. We do have refrigerated Vitamin Water, Smart Water and Poland Springs water for sale.

 

 

What if I'm not flexible?

This is a common misconception that prevents people from attending yoga class. Yoga is about strengthening your body, stretching and working the right way, enabling each person to achieve their own personal best.

 

 

Is it a cardiovascular work out and can I lose weight?

Absolutely, regardless of your fitness level, Bikram yoga provides both aerobic and anaerobic benefits though postures which combine flexibility, strength and balance. The heated room permits the body to flush toxins from the body through perspiration thus with patience and dedication your body will go through a significant transformation. Not only in inches and tone but skin, complexion, and quality as well.

 

 

What are some other benefits?

Benefits to this yoga practice are virtually limitless, through regular classes you can reduce the symptoms of many chronic conditions, such as lower back pain and arthritis; improve the inner workings of the nervous, digestive, circulatory and immune systems while promoting relaxation.
